Addiction Awareness Training – Rhema Bible School

July 2025 | Addiction Awareness Training – Rhema Bible School

In July 2025, GamAid Zambia conducted an addiction awareness training session for the Rhema Bible School group, equipping participants with a deeper understanding of gambling addiction and its impact on individuals, families, and communities.

The session focused on recognising warning signs, understanding the psychological and financial effects of gambling related harm, and responding with both compassion and practical action. Participants were encouraged to view addiction not simply as a moral failing, but as a behavioural condition that requires structured support and accountability.

Engaging faith based institutions is a critical part of prevention and early intervention. By strengthening awareness within community and church settings, GamAid continues to expand safe spaces where individuals can seek help without shame.
