In August 2025, GamAid Zambia conducted a community outreach at Garden Market, engaging traders and members of the public in open conversations about gambling addiction and its impact on families and livelihoods.
The outreach focused on raising awareness of warning signs, financial risks linked to betting, and the recovery support available through GamAid. Many shared personal experiences of gambling-related debt and financial strain, highlighting the need for accessible education beyond formal institutions.
By stepping into everyday community spaces, GamAid continues to ensure that conversations about addiction are not limited to boardrooms or campuses, but reach the people most affected.
